The annual function Eid-Diwali-2008 added another success story in the chapters of BCANA which was held on Nov.8th at Villa Park, IL.

The program started with the welcome speech by BCANA president Mr. Jawaid Iqbal, who greeted the folks and urged them to donate generously for the Bihar flood victims. One of the BCANA founders, Dr. S.P. Singh talked about the long and meaningful journey of BCANA and introduced the CEO of Stats Technologies, Dr. Surendra Kumar. The cultural program started with the mesmerizing dance of Miss Shristi Singh. After that, Dr. Surendra Kumar gave the power point presentation on the causes, impact and remedy of the chronic flood in Bihar, specially the recent one, due to Kosi River. Mrs. Shivani Anand came up with a brain teaser game and everybody participated in it keenly. The vice president, Mr. Binod Balak did wonderful job of arrangement of dinner with the help of "Taste of India". Immediately after dinner, Mr. Jayanand Jha sang the Hindi song. Mrs. Chhavi and Mr. Jawaid Iqbal sang the songs in Hindi and Bhojpuri. 'Eid Diwali Celebration' formally came to an end with the 'Vote of Thanks' by the event Mr. Jayanand Jha who greeted the audiences and thanked them for generously donating for the Bihar flood victims. Dance floor was then opened for everybody till late night and it was a great fun for everybody.

The organizers and volunteers collected significant amount for the flood relief, which will be distributed with the help of NGOs in Bihar. Further donations can be sent to the treasurer Mr. Pankaj Singh and Miss Afsah Moinuddin.
